The game mechanics are very similar to World of Warcraft (WOW), which gets no complaints from me.įrom the joy of the quest grind, to the story line to the exploring, this has a little of everything for different gamers. A player will go out and complete quests to try and bring stability to the land, and therefore rise to power and glory. Players can play as a member of one of two noble races that rule the land, the Humans or the High Elves. It is a land that is only just recovering from a Dark Age known as “The Age of Punishment.” Runes of Magic is a massively multi-player online role playing game (MMORPG) that takes place in the mythical lands of Taborea.
